Since the first editions of NATO STANAG* 4439 and AOP** 39 published in 1995 for ratification (1998), industrialized countries are gradually adopting IM Requirements or an IM Policy.

NATO STANAG 4439 Ed. 3 ratified by the member nations.

AOP 39 Ed. 3 follows the same process.
